I know I'm not only person to feel this way, but Complex-1 has some really, really nice sounding reverbs inside it. All of them sound instantly musical and pleasing.

I'd really like to use these Complex-1 reverbs both as a Send effect and as an insert (preferably Send, though).

I've seen Selig mention in an old thread that this is possible, but requires some fancy combinator trickery to remove the 'dry' signal that will show up if you do a basic send approach.

Well, if Selig, or anyone else, could explain and/or share a combinator patch that is setup such that I could drop it in as a send, choose a Complex-1 verb, then send non-Complex-1 instruments to the effect, that would be absolutely wonderful.

Cheers,
-Michael

You just use the rear audio inputs and output

This is not helpful, sorry. I'm aware of this approach, and as I mentioned in my post, the 'standard' routing like this doesn't work because you can't make Complex-1's output 100% wet. When doing it this way, you get a massive volume boost to the overall signal, because it's adding both dry (a copy of the input, essentially) and wet to the input signal. I assume this has to do with the way the built-in reverb in Complex-1 is wired-up behind the scenes -- at full level knob, that is -not- a 'wet' signal, but a combo of dry and wet.

I'm asking for the more complicated, combinator workaround that Selig mentioned a while back in an older thread, the solution that makes it behave 100% like a normal effect send. It involves some sort of cancellation with additional REs.

It needs Selig Gain and VMG-1 (free) to work:

Here's a version using Thor instead:
