Ok man, thanks a lot and thanks for the feedback on that as well. Just a quick comment, no I didn't mean 5G but wifi also has a thing called 5 Ghz, as usual wifi settings are 2,4 Ghz. But nevermind. I've got to work! ;-)

In case some of you have not bought WBF R2, yet, now is a very good time to pick it up. It's a really great value (esp. for this low price).
Hear, hear! :)

Deal over, thank you very much to those who joined and have fun with the sounds!

Oh thank you :) I'm just a desillusioned space traveller like anyone but I always found the Fairlight amazing so I had to give that a little attention ;) Turned out I found a whole world of sounds where I would go: Oh THAT was what Yazoo used - and that's not focusing on Sararr (or ARR1) at all but a tiny sample named Nopple ;)

And anyway;

Now guys let's see if you can locate Nopple and as a quiz let us know which Yazoo track used it.

Huh, I never would have thought that to be CMI.

Vince Clarke fans will fight me because of this, but in some ways, I prefer the period before the Chorus album where he went full on luddite analogue. Basically from the second Yazoo album thru Erasure's Wild!, he embraced the digital technology of the time and you can hear Sequential Prophet VS, Roland D-50 and yes, the Fairlight. He even embraced the Casio phase mod synths too.

Um Nobody's Diary is of course brim full of analog (on the 45 (rpm) lol) as you can hear. So no he used a healthy combination of everything.

Wasn't saying he used only that - I meant that I preferred the balanced approach before 1991 happened.

If it still isn't Bitley's 50th just yet I wonder if the 50th sale could be extended, even for just a few hours :o

Get the balance right - as they said ;)

By the way, you mentioned looking for a retrowave soundbank; WBF R2 is the beez kneez. Wood beez being one of the reez for me ever playing keez. If you have PX7 you can also grab the free 8Z Free refill to check that my work is solid.

Ok Jagwah :)

Your wish is my command. Here's a Reasontalk special $50 deal for WBF R2, and it stays active as long as this thread does then :)

And now I want to know if anyone can solve the quiz above too.

I got the link pretty fast. It's an amazing catalogue of sounds and I've barely scratched the surface. I'm even enjoying just jamming on my keyboard and it's making me want to improve my playing skills!

This is super good for retro wave stuff too!

Very glad to own it, going to get great use out of it over the years I'm sure!!

Sorry to bother you all with a routine update but Paypal is giving me a nightmare. If you please login to your Paypal accounts and set your Bitley orders to Delivered, archive, it will help me a lot. Sorry for this inconvenience!
