Is Audacity still safe to use?
I am not going to share any youtube videos (opinions). If someone has a definitive answer Audacity is not a spyware I want to know. I uninstalled it. I use Wavosaur for my quick edits.

I would have more concerns using social media platforms than using audacity and was happily using it today...
If you're concerned about that then you should probably put a tinfoil hat on and stop using the internet

I still use it. ♂️
In my opinion, this is far better anyway (and free) Windows, Mac OS X and Linux - no need to use anything else!

Thanks for posting this link.
Question: Does Ocenaudio allow for you to record media that your computer is playing (what you hear)? That's really the main reason I used Audacity.

What help is Audacity for a Reason user? (I have not looked at it in many years.)
- Shocker: I have a SoundCloud!
I was going to install Audacity a while ago to steal Tibetan thighbone trumpet sounds from YouTube. But I never did.

Nice file size...
Can it capture "what you hear"?

They are a great gift as ready to cook Thanksgiving birds for recycled friends and family too.

Audacity is useful for two things for me:integerpoet wrote: ↑03 Mar 2022What help is Audacity for a Reason user? (I have not looked at it in many years.)
- Noise Reduction - it is great for removing hum from noisy audio tracks
- Saving a finished track to different formats (flac, mp3, ogg, etc)
i use it for normalizing and adding silence at the beginningintegerpoet wrote: ↑03 Mar 2022What help is Audacity for a Reason user? (I have not looked at it in many years.)
