This really helped me today. He shows how to use fabfilter proq3 and fabfilter C2 with Reason in sidechain instead of using the M Class comp.

I was using the M Class in the mixer up until now.

Nice video.
Since reason has no VST3 support i guess there are not many 3rd party plugins that makes sidechain possible, right ?
I see that in the video you have the Fabfilter Proq3, i use the toneboosters eq and cant get it to dynamically eq using this method.
Hope the v12 brings VST3 support .

Sidechains in VST2 often work just fine, although there was a recent update to Reason that fixed a problem with Neutron 3 and apparently with some of the Waves plugins. Here are six VST2s that I use that have functioning sidechains.

Great. I´m a happy TDR user, i will install the VST2 versions and check it out. Thanks for reminding me :D :clap:

I really like that Melda MCompressor... Attack is super fast.. not bad for a freebie

Its a very nice fxbundle indeed. compressor attack as low as 0.0ms xD

Oh yes, I use the Pro q3 to do sidechain. This Eq allows me to make dynamic bands to make more surgical attenuations without subtracting so much from the other sound.
