 ! I just found out that a special episode aired a couple of weeks ago - South ParQ Vaccination Special

Ok, I think I'll find time shortly to check it out before the fall

They are unblocked on YT now: https://www.youtube.com/c/AdamCurtisDocumentary/videos

EDIT:
Having seen it all (6/6), I'm disappointed with the conclusions. Despite showing the screwup of all the ideas of the past, the author still believes people could regain their confidence and come up with some new rational idea of the future. He seems to be more concerned with the rise and fall of those ideas than the human conscience itself. The view is also very narrow and one-sided, he focuses on drama, fear and frustration. And he never touched any socio-philosophical theories that help explain what's going on without going into mysterious hidden sides of human mind.
Thanks for the tip, I had already gotten a hold of the last 3 parts through some intrepid high seas swashbuckling. I agree the latter half is a bit disappointing; I especially thought the 6th episode felt rushed and uneven. I remember every other sentence in the narration starting with "but..." which added to the confusion. There were still interesting bits but it should have been edited down a bit, as Curtis drags in everything but the kitchen sink (he rambles) and he repeats himself. Episode 5 (the lordly ones) was more interesting but also a bit of a stretch as far as the sad fate of that iraqi man.
I really enjoyed the series and the thing about Curtis is he does smuggle interesting fringe ideas into the the (semi) mainstream such as the discussion of Operation Mindfuck/Kerry Thornley over a couple of episodes. This is something I'd come across reading Robert Anton Wilson and never expected to see it in a BBC documentary, although Curtis has his own special deal regarding BBC archive - hence why this was available on BBC iplayer but not aired over terrestrial AFAIK.

I once said he's a conspiracy theorist for people who who'd finished their degree as an affectionate joke. He's always entertaining and thought provoking at the very least. Check out He Hit Me (And it Felt Like a Kiss).

Just as an addendum to the comments on on Curtis latest doc series, not enough has been made of him showing footage of a jihadi training camp with a live a version of Chris De Burgh Lady In Red providing the soundtrack, but completely in context to the story he is telling. Just jaw dropping, shocking and hilarious all at once.

edit: provided the H in Burgh. Im drunk.

Recent fun shows I've watched and recommend:
Resident Alien - not even sure how to categorize this, amazing performance by lead Alan Tudyk, also awesome in Doom Patrol (another fun super hero show).
Also in the recently viewed list:
The Flight Attendant
Killing Eve
Debris
Wanda Vision
Selig Audio, LLC

Alternating between Cosmos and Once Upon A Time. Both entertainingly corny but also pretty great.

There should be what are you reading and what are you gaming threads. For me a book of contemporary photography my mum gave me for my birthday and Divinity Original Sin.

i didn't think that show was gonna last for more than one season
it is neat that the original cast (most) are in it and they didn't reboot it
