Another great track of yours. I love how round and powerful the low end is. I'd love to watch a video tutorial on how you achieve your sound within Reason. Very good!

i listened to this song. i loved the bass line. bass sound. it is very true.
but song is too minimal for my taste. i do not know how to say it. just too minimal. am... perhaps i should say it: that minimalism is too tensioned. i got nervous listening it. but song is very true in style. ... but when vocals cames song becames more live. more likeable.

overall very good song, you know. very precisely done. production is very good. and lenght for this style is just the right.

only maybe one thing: song in general is too less clear. sound is somehow too muddy. perhaps. maybe. do not take this too much serious. but maybe i would do it more clean - meaning less reverb and so. just a litte bit less reverb(s).

Thank you for checking it out, Quarmat! I'm glad you like the low end, it is the most difficult part, isn't it? While I do it within live 11 with the RRP and plugins, it all can be translated to Reason, no doubt. The main secret to achieve clarity is in treating the sub of the bass separately from the high end of the bass, this gives you more control over the low end. On this track I used the reason bass Re, but I can't remember right now if I used a different instrument for the sub, if I did, it was the autosub Re, which is what I use when I don't duplicate the bass channel for this very purpose. Given that the reason bass Re isn't very low end heavy, it is very likely I used the autosub. From then on it is about sidechaining the sub and adding harmonics and width to the higher bass πŸ€“

Haha, thanks for checking, RNW. Maybe I've used too much reverb for the genre? πŸ€” I'll see if I can manage a dryer song next time, though it will not be of your taste, cause I mostly only make minimal stuff πŸ˜‚
