Garlic. Lots of Garlic. Over one pound 610g of dehydrated California Garlic bought near beginning of Pandemic 2020.
In Freezer. Over half to go through yet as of summer 2021.
Have you tried garlic in Tuna Salad? Exquisite. Put in as much as you can bear.
It's great on eggs as well. The stuff goes on pretty much everything these days - hopefully the jar will be finished by the end of the year.
Hopefully.

Spanish local albondegas recipie. Meatballs.

Either chicken or pork (I'm using Pork)
basically you fry the meatballs in a pot, then chuck in onions and loads of almonds and fry them. Then wizz that up into an almonds onion paste/sauce, then cook the meatballs in that! Eat it with frites and or bread and pimiento frito.
It's amazing.

For you herbivores out there you can also make this with baked cauliflower and it's also amazing. I added some dry porcini to the almonds to jazz it up without the pig.

Kinda want to try it with felafel

Try rubbing garlic cloves on toast...then add olive oil or butter or cheese or whatever.
Or if you wanna get really andalucian, grate a tomato into pulp and spread it on the garlic rub like jam with some salt and olive oil.

I grew up woth a bunch of little old italian grand parents. I was like 20+ before anyone told me you could smell like garlic.
This was in England.
Hard to know how to reply to such a statement.

I'm indian, so I eat indian food like...
North Indian food -
Chicken tandoori, chicken tikka, seekh kebabs, paneer tikka masala, chicken kadhai etc...dal tadka
South Indian food -
Dosa, idli, vada sambaar etc.

Home cooked food like sabzi(vegetable curry) and roti(indian bread)
Or dal(lentils) and chawal( rice)

EDIT - my digestive system went for a toss, now I'm eating only home cooked food, no more chicken tikka masala for me 😂

Today I wanted camembert cheese. He warmed up the cheese in the microwave and ate it with tomatoes and croutons. It was damn delicious, albeit very simple.

hello,

looking up baked beans / potato salad recipes
i'm still doing the 4th of july menu items
people in brooklyn are still setting off fireworks
i found this meatloaf recipe

it is a very goodgood watch in terms of the lady's delivery
her voice is like a soundtrack (the video isn't necessary)
and the jokes she makes are very funny

she also has some pretty goodgood instructions on a meatloaf

i still think i will cook mine on an oven rack / baking sheet

i also made the first batch of tepache
and am fermenting the first batch of scotch bonnet peppers and ginger for a hot sauce

still thinking about staying on r10 and windows7 (with the RE from r11 suite)

baked beans with green chile and sausage almost done
potato salad is chilling in the fridge

cheers and eat well,

Great video. And the recipe seems to be not very complicated. You can try to cook such a dish on weekends.

hello,

here is a nice pizza video with mayhem
very cool personality and goodgood recipes

this video is cool because when the ingredients pop up on the screen
they synch the 808 bass (very subtle (but veryvery cool when you realize it))

listening to synthwave music and jan hammer miami vice songs

cheers and eat well,

The other night I had lasagna with added 3 fresh cloves of garlic and tons of olive oil.

I felt ill and forced myself to throw up ( finger down throat ) to get it over with.

Fresh garlic is powerful got to watch it. Lesson learned.

Had lasagna again tonight with a more conservative amount of garlic and oil. Tasted just as good..... but no ill feeling.

hello,

i love garlic
eat one raw clove per day

added lots of crushed cloves to my 'jerk seasoning' pepper / veg ferment
looks something like this (i got the pic from the web)

https://www.chilipeppermadness.com/wp-c ... ecipe1.jpg

once it has fermented for 4 weeks, i'll add the other ingredients
pickle it, and put it into bottles

cheers and eat well,

hello,

an indian food dish
i'd probably add chicken pieces

one of the comments said to add some coconut milk

the cooking channel itself seems very vast with indian recipes and some cool other stuff

also, i heard that 'garam masala' is more of a finishing spice
(not to be eaten raw (needs to be bloomed in the final stages of cooking))

i like using raw turmeric but it really turns anything it touches to yellowgold

cheers and eat well,

hello,

here is a recipe for a seafood ceasar salad
i'd make my own dressing and croutons
however, the woman's delivery about making the dish
is hysterical
so many one liners comedy wise
i watched it twice to catch more jokes

(be careful with your volume: there is a lot of treble)

i think there is too much seafood though in one dish
maybe make a base salad and dressing and separate out the seafood
and then in 2 nights you can have 2 different quick good salads

and add anchovies

and then this salmon pasta asparagus dish
which has a chillout asmr audio track and great video production

Fresh pasta for lunch today, with a puttanesca sauce (tomatoes, anchovies, olives, capers)

Gotta love the old hand-cranked pasta machine: supreme quality egg fettuccine for 2 in the time it takes to boil the water

i do make pizza dough

here are some hungry otters
(a very nifty channel in general)

and salmon

it would be cool to figure out a reason12 release party dinner menu

It's just a stock photo! mine was messier, and there was more of it on the plate

It's easy once you get the hang of it - those pasta machines are awesome, but you can make noodles without them. Just make the dough (100g of plain flour and 1 egg per person, add a little bit of salt & olive oil), knead & roll the dough out thin like a pancake, then flour it & roll it into a cylinder, then slice it into noodles. A bit of a hassle if you're making large quantities, but for 1 or 2 people it's no problem

hello,

@dvdrtldg: your no machine pasta recipe may be the way i go
thank you

and serve it along side with these dolmas
(the soundtrack doesn't seem to fit)

the recipe is very nice
i don't trust buying grape leaves from amazon
and have yet to find a place here in brooklyn that sells fresh grape leaves
i'd go the stuffing cabbage / onion route
and then the video does other stuffings
a very tasty dish

hello,

here is something that will give greeks a run for their money

it is just background music, so i muted it and put on timecop1983 song

the way the eggplant is cut is very nifty visually and is a greatway to cook those ingredients
i would roast / braise them in the oven slowly with more vegetables
i'm not much of a frying with a lot of oil person

it's fun to watch recipe videos with a different soundtrack
and see if you can get the ingredients / instructions correct

Button mushrooms cooked in butter until they've sweated. The trick is to put a lid on the pan to stop them drying out. Then sprinkle over a bit of flour and slowly add some milk, let it thicken, add some more etc until its the right consistency and then take it off the heat. Salt and pepper and a little bit of chilli powder. Serve with pasta. Sometimes also with onions and or courgette, garlic if you eat it which I don't.

Also fritters, some corn, peas, half a grated carrot and a grated courgette, although any vegetable does the job. Mix with some milk, a little bit of grated cheese, self raising flour and an egg. Fry up some spoonfuls about as big as your hand on a lowest heat - theyre cooked when there's bubbles in the middle. If I'm fancy I put feta in them too. Normally I eat these like a burger or a sandwich which some leafy shit, tomato, mayonnaise or tom sauce, maybe a fried egg.
