mpcx routing to reason

greetings,
looking for a way to run the mpcx and reason software together.
i did these steps and it is not working for us.
running 2.9.1 software in the mpc computer software ( mac OSX )

mpc firmware 2.8.1.12 on the mpcx ( also says 2.9.1 on the Mpcx screen )

using reason 11 suite
( version 11.3.9d22 )
also thru mac operating system
catalina
10.15.07

got the steps done with the mapping made the template etc

is there a video for reason 11
that can help with this issue.
i know it is possible but thus far we have been un successful.

i have seen a video for reason 10 version on youtube
(but not a version 11 video
that says how to set up mpcx as a controller with reason 11 )

so i know it is indeed possible.


im trying to beef up the drums on pre recorded tracks done in reason
and beats i made with the mpcx to make both fuller with the sounds
is the why we asking ?
