The labs are great. I really like these guy's sound, and they do really nice sounding orchestral/cinematic libraries.
Labs are a great entry point to their stuff. The mandolin sounds really nice, and is very playable. Tundra Atmos is also nice sounding.

I have BBC SSO core, got it with a 40% discount. But the core is heavy, I can only imagine the pro version. But the sound is great and the legato instruments sound quite natural.
If you're in need of really great sounding cinematic stuff, keep your eyes opened for the sales. 40% discount puts SSO Core at +- 200 €, and they do the same sales for a bunch of other stuff!

I really like these instruments, I agree that they sound great. And who can honestly complain about the prices. The only issue is how much space they are taking up on my HDD (being sample driven). Between these Sptifire VSTs and my Hi-Res REs... I got no room left for saving REASON files.

Perhaps I will try to make some dumbed down versions of each instrument, sampled into a few Combinator-ized Mimics or something.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

I just put them on an external drive. All total, they are less than 4GB. Not horrible if you compare to other full blown Kontakt or UVI libraries.

Think I have them all on a SSD weighing in at 18.9 GB...

Oops! You're right! mine are also ~18GB total. I must have been out of it when I looked at my folders. :o

Glass Piano
"Philip Glass's Beloved Piano"

Recorded at his home in New York City, this is legendary composer Philip Glass's beloved piano. His entire breadth of compositional work over the past 30 years has been written on this piano — including seminal works The Piano Etudes, all of his Academy Award-nominated film scores, and hundreds of other compositions. Discover the unique sonic personality of this baby grand with a range of sounds — from classic and beautiful, to soft and atmospheric.
I haven't tried it yet, but I'm excited to download it later!

I had a quick play with Glass Piano before I had to leave. Some of the velocity layers seem off. I was playing lower notes, and the harder I hit them they sometimes sounded like they were quieter. Sometimes like the correct sample was played, but at a lower volume than the velocity layers before it.

I'll take a closer listen later. Anybody have a chance to play with it yet?

Two new ones, "Astral Forms" a while ago, and just recently "Micah's Choir". My count is 49 with these.

Somehow I have one more than the 48 listed on the website, I have 49. I have one called "Sleigh Bells" not shown on the LABS page.

Yeah looking at the emails, Sleigh Bells was #45 in December and then Glass Piano was #45 in January, so it must have been a temporary seasonal offering? Although the link still works from the email.
