That just sounds like someone putting his wig for the second time...
I have Bitwig already installed on my PC. I dare to work myself through it. Mostly because I don't have to much time atm but secondly because I'd think I will turn over to Bitwig then. To be honest, it seems to have everything I ever wanted from Reason. The modular environment Reason once was unique for? Bitwig does it much better AND the workflow seems to be so much more fluid. I have been working with Reason since 2003. One factor that I can't look past is: I really know this DAW from the inside out. My workflow is so fast, I instantly get impatient when I turn to another DAW. Of course, that's my own problem. But atm there is no Reason (pun intended) to upgrade and pay for more instruments and it does make no sense waiting for RS to get "en par" with Live or Bitwig. I don't want to use Reason in Bitwig, too - because I use it mainly as a DAW. To me ther would be no way Bitwig would benefit from using Reason in it as a plugin.
After all these years this is the first time I am really on the edge on turning away from Reason. I like working with it but there still some features I am missing (and many stuff Bitwig does so much better).
Not complaining here. Just being sad seeing that my favorite DAW has stopped evolving years ageo. At least there weren't big inventions that would make Reason stand apart from other "big players".
