This is soooo good. I don't even worry about quantizing anymore. As part of my flow I get stuff happening with my midi keyboard then come and move things around in the clip manually and this double click method is unbelievably useful, I can't even remember the flow before this was implemented.
Makes me wonder what other little sequencer tools I am missing that add so much to one's workflow. I'm on R10 btw.
Double click to add / remove notes
If that amazes you then you would be pretty stoked with R11

Thanks but not if in a roundabout way I was paying a full upgrade fee for it, the conversion to AUS dollar makes things expensive too. Nice to know some things I will get to eventually may make me happy in the sequencer though.
I found R11 to include more updates to the sequencer than many past versions.
- Automation curves
- Audio clip crossfades
- Individual track zoom, increased zoom height
- Mute MIDI notes
- New pencil tool to draw multiple notes
- Absolute snap
- Improved key visualization in Edit Mode, showing both the notes played via MIDI and the notes selected
- Draw an automation point on the existing automation line by holding Shift
- cmd+shift+up/down to move notes up/down an octave
- Shift+doubleclick on note in Edit mode selects that note + all following notes until end of clip
Objectively, that's probably true. It comes from a low change rate in the past.joeyluck wrote: ↑02 Apr 2021I found R11 to include more updates to the sequencer than many past versions.

That's not necessarily a bad thing either, for instance in terms of software continuity. I know what I'm getting.
In combination with Suite it's an awesome upgrade, but I would skip the Standard-upgrade (as R10 user).
