Track Folders, Midi Chase and built in Notepad missing. Add those three + updated midi editor and allow a selection for "All of the above".
Reason Studio's 11.3 / Cockos Reaper 6.82 / Cakewalk By Bandlab / Orion 8.6

Choose five

VST3! VST2 is deprecated and new developers can't even get IDs for it anymore. Meaning if I were to develop a VST right now I couldn't use it in Reason.
From the options available I went with:
Hi-Res (hi-priority!)
Group channels/tracks
Video support

It potentially could, if you are a mound.

Actually if they add a clip launcher wouldnt punch in out be a natural feature of this. I mean, you would want to record clips into this and then you need punchin/out anyways if everything should work fluidly.
My picks in priority order are new combinator, Recycle integration, ghost clips.
But also MARKERS. I mean, I've just started teaching my nine year old some basic Reason use and the first thing they asked was how do they place markers on the page. And if a nine year old sees the need for this then.......

I want VST MIDI in routing in the rack. I can't use a single rack for multiple instruments, and loading 12 rack plugins just feels... wrong.
Within the VST implementation all of the tools are there. What is preventing RS from adding a "MIDI In" routing capability to the VST rack?

I think that features aren't going to do a lot to help, they need to change their pricing strategy and not for the worse like add a subscription on top of what is already essentially a subscription that updates yearly or a bit longer. Paid updates suck, and last changes to eliminate rewire asked customers for more money for less features.

Hole?
Sometimes it feels like I am the only one who is willing to admit the biggest barrier between me and creative productivity is me.
There are things I would like to see added to Reason-the-DAW, but none of them is an existential crisis.
And none of them are on this list, although some things on this list seem like they might help me a little.
And, FWIW, feature parity with other DAWs has never been a priority for me. Peer pressure is for children.
So I guess I feel a bit out of step with this thread (and possibly forum).
