Grain Sample Manipulator missing from shop
They are having the devil's own time with the web site. I think they're getting ready to upgrade it or something, and the changes being made on the back end (the database end) are affecting the displays of the front end (the web site end). If nothing was changing it would all still look and operate the same, so something is definitely in the works.
Yeah, I used to be a developer before I jumped over into Electrical and Mechatronics Engineering. So I have an inkling or two of what might be going on. They wouldn't touch anything (that was working previously) if they didn't have a plan. It doesn't necessarily mean they're out to do evil; it means that there are probably going to be some improvements in the near future.
Before you get excited, your Products have probably all gone missing, too. Again, changes at the database end are wreaking havoc on the web page end. I've already informed them of what were seeing. I'm told they are working on it.
Just thought you'd like to know.

I would very much like to know what you're drinking, and then I would like for someone to pour me a glass of the same.

Ever heard of Reason+? I’m assuming you couldn’t find the link to buy standalone R11 which includes Grain?

Both standalone (perpetual) and R+ also has Grain (obviously) though. I am legit curious what the OP is talking about.MannequinRaces wrote: ↑22 Feb 2021Ever heard of Reason+? I’m assuming you couldn’t find the link to buy standalone R11 which includes Grain?

He said 'Grain Sample Manipulator' - which immediately got my attention. And sure enough, there was nothing in the shop by that name or function. So naturally I got curious. Maybe something like that just popped up, and you'd have to admit it does sound interesting...

Grain Sample Manipulator is just the full name of the same old Grain that we all know and love since Reason 10:
Now they have removed Kong, Subtractor, Malstrom, Dr. OctoRex, Monotone, Rytmik, NN-19 AND NN-XT from the shop. And those are just the instruments! I just checked the effects, and Pulverizer, Echo, RV7000 and all the other legacy effect devices are GONE too! This is outrageous! I demand an explanation as to why the SKY IS FALLING!
I just knew this was going to happen - no subscription no reasonstudios devices just an empty DAW........

I didn’t explain it very good but I thought at one point there was a separate web page that showed the new devices like Grain, Europa, etc.. maybe the OP followed a bad link to one of those pages.EnochLight wrote: ↑22 Feb 2021Both standalone (perpetual) and R+ also has Grain (obviously) though. actually, while trying to open a pack in the companion - "RPG Adventures" by soundcells they were all missing a device identified as grain sample manipulator. the link took me to an empty cart in the shop and further searching revealed no fix to the issue. whats up? somebody please do your sleuthing. thanks!

Which version you're on?
I just downloaded the pack and tested with 12.7.1 and didn't have any issues. Are you having issues with Grain in general?jazzfuturist wrote: ↑01 Jan 2024actually, while trying to open a pack in the companion - "RPG Adventures" by soundcells they were all missing a device identified as grain sample manipulator. the link took me to an empty cart in the shop and further searching revealed no fix to the issue. whats up? somebody please do your sleuthing. thanks!

Simple test,
Do you have Europa?
Y: then you have Grain.
N: then you do not have Grain.
They come from the same release.

Well they downloaded a pack from Companion, so I would think that they must at least have R11 or R12 installed. Although I guess we can't rule out someone subscribing to Reason+, but not installing the latest version of Reason which they have as a subscriber...Enlightenspeed wrote: ↑02 Jan 2024Simple test,
