Hmm. Darth Juno is hinting it could be more than 6.

I wondered earlier when I saw it that the 7 meant it was 7 operator which makes it like the DX7.
EDIT - Sorry the DX7 had 6 operators.

Finally a RE synth with Randomization.
I think it's only Nostromo that also have it.
It's an easy feature to implement and very usefuld for creating new sound ideas.
I guess it's still possible to design all sounds from scratch if one prefer that.

The Universe Is Vibrating
And two days after Valentine's Day! TWO! I mean why wasn't this on Valentine's Day? Are they trying to hint that they don't love us???
Still we should have guest us oldies was for the chop at some point , executive always like younger models it's just a matter of when......
I'm just going to build a PreenFM3 and be in FM heaven that way. I've built a PreenFM2 already and it lets me load up DX7 sysex files. It's also got this very simple and fun interface for randomizing the options so you can randomize a section of the patch. (It also lets you load Scala files.)
I'm sure this new RE is nice, but I'm only using Reason to record my hardware these days. Now if they port this RE into a eurorack module, I'll probably be all over it.

If you ain't hip to the rare Housequake, shut up already.
Damn.
Damn.
I'm interested to see what the back of it would look like... Hoping it's got a handful of CV support.

Actually, I think LoveOne's Vibro was the first RE synth to have randomization (it had a mutate button buried in the menu). That reminds me.... cool synth.... i should give it some love. https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... nthesizer/SoundObjects wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021Finally a RE synth with Randomization.

Lectric Panda's random buttons are certainly the gold standard, with the filtering options. Gotta love LP!
I think Nostromo and Vibro are the only two in the shop with random. So, YES! for Algoritm!! It's great to see another synth with a random function.
What the hell, man? I'm certainly more reasonable that Enoch. Are you kidding me? I'm going to change your username to Billy- now!
Sorry completely forgot about you challism And to be fair that's just how I like my mods I moved you to the top of my list of bestest mods with Enoch joint first place
Too late! The damage has already been done to my ego; It's irreversible. Much like your new username: Billy-
ha ha ha
"Random" in the synths near than you think)) This is just a randomise levels to some parameters, that outside of modulation matrix in special place.
WTFM (and other many synths) as example include randomise into Modulation Matrix, into LFO, all of this can be set with destination to various parameters like Envelopes, Freqs, Levels, Filters, etc. Nothing specially new, but organised in one place, that really help to say about this "RANDOMIZER!" Yes. Randomizer, something specially new ?)

My guess is that that means they will be releasing a major version every year now, and obviously you can't expect older versions to get the new stuff therefore not supported anymore in the sense that they will not work more on them... I see nothing wrong with that. Do you, Billy÷?

Please can you put in back to Billy+
You're in first place top of the list by yourself miles above all others, now stop messing around before you break something.
Really can't wait to see the shitstorm when Algoritm releases at a price between $149-$199 with no intro.
I would argue that random modulation sources and randomization of patches are two very different things, since they are used for entirely different purposes.turn2on wrote: ↑16 Feb 2021"Random" in the synths near than you think)) This is just a randomise levels to some parameters, that outside of modulation matrix in special place.

A synth can definitely have both, like Nostromo does for example.
Now you say that but I've been thinking for awhile now that the RS rack extensions are a potential leverage point for us who prefer to own stuff..
I guess we will all have to wait and see!
Something went wrong? I was replying to joey.... but something went all screwy
It definitely seems to be MUCH MORE than a PX7 replacement which would have been completely pointless especially as I have it, and chances are I will no doubt end up buying it as I just can't help my self.
It would be nice if they stick with the usual pricing. So about 5 months subscription costs
Well I don't know about paying "anything" for it, but from the crap video and animation that we've seen so far I'm getting curious.joeyluck wrote: I'd pay anything for it because I'm such a loyal perpetual license user and I want them to understand how much value we all place on perpetual licenses. If people don't buy it, it's just going to show that Algoritm makes more money from R+ and we all know what that means!!! So buy it no matter what the price!!!
