Glad it's sorted out. I think the reinstall was overkill.
Yeah, inside our perpetually tormented minds.

I sometimes get an odd thing where the standalone runs fine but the RRP insists on updating licences before it will load. Once I had it happen three times in one day. It made me scowl.

Have you tried closing all apps using Reason/RRP and "Synchronizing all" from RS "My Products" page?BigPictureSound wrote: β05 Feb 2021I am getting the same problem with RRP displaying Reason Suite splash screen when loading and after login prompt while in Bitwig. It just hangs with only option to cancel, thus plugin fails to load.

I wish we could just get past this kind of thing so people could just make music hassle free. Codemeter / Authorizer is a clear failure and should be removed from this eco-system. How many more paying users are going to have to deal with these issues?

I've never had any problems with my ignition key for DAW authorisation and replacing safari with Firefox sorted RE's sometimes needing to update licenses multiple times.
As for RRP it doesn't show any rack extensions when I use it in Odesi, but that's not a Reason issue per say, and loading RRP in nectarine works perfectly. I don't have any other DAW as I prefer using Reason as my DAW.

Thank you for your reply. I did try that and also across different macs which both ended up with the same problem.orthodox wrote: β05 Feb 2021Have you tried closing all apps using Reason/RRP and "Synchronizing all" from RS "My Products" page?BigPictureSound wrote: β05 Feb 2021I am getting the same problem with RRP displaying Reason Suite splash screen when loading and after login prompt while in Bitwig. The problem seems to be isolated to one specific Bitwig project created before installing Companion & updating Reason. I am able to create new projects with Reason Rack Plugin instantiated, with the normal Rack pop up (no license check needed).
The project with the issue throws a Reason Rack login prompt, which then tries to load Reason 11 rather than the rack. Copy and pasting session components from this problem file to a new fresh project works until saving and quitting, and the same problem of login stall pops up.
Strangest thing.

This dialog is just a warning (but I agree, it comes across as an error). Pressing cancel should proceed to have Reason/RRP open with no issues. Let me know if this isn't the case for you. We agree that that error message is a little confusing. We'll make that text a little clearer.BigPictureSound wrote: β05 Feb 2021Any word from the devs on this? Mine is a bit different. This particular project seems to be bugged where it asks for Reason Login to continue, but then hangs without loading. I took a screen shot, the only option is to cancel but then RRP doesn't load.jamespember wrote: β05 Feb 2021

It works fine in new projects, but maybe having this particular Bitwig project opened at the time when I updated Reason and also Companion and caused a license issue somewhere in the pointer?
If I copy and paste any part of this session into a new bitwig session I get same error where RRP will not load after saving, closing, and reopening.

Hey James I get the exact same issue when using RRP in Odesi :- https://odesi.mixedinkey.comjamespember wrote: β05 Feb 2021

I've never managed to get any rack extension to be available while using it, I assumed it was an Odesi issue as it doesn't matter if I use online auth, machine auth or my ignition key but everything is available if I load RRP in Nektar's Nectarine host....

Oh, that is odd. Would you mind submitting a ticket to support and replying with the case number in here? I can then try get it looked at when I sit down at my desk on Monday.BigPictureSound wrote: β05 Feb 2021Mine is a bit different. You mean that post! To be honest I probably reported quite awhile ago before all the tickets got scrapped and am not that worried about it, I just assumed it was an Odesi issue as everything with RRP is available when I use necktarine as a standalone host. http://support.nektartech.com/Nektarine-Helpjamespember wrote: β06 Feb 2021Oh, that is odd. Odesi runs completely in the browser and is more a sketch pad than a full DAW.
If you want to bring anything up on Monday find out when VST2 midi devices will be fully supported as I also use the Captian suite inside Reason and I would much rather that is worked fully. https://mixedinkey.com/captain-plugins/
All I need is midi from vsts working like Logic or Live and I will be a happy little minion
