Hi I m new to Reason and just wonder if its possbile to route midi lanes to a mixer channel to mix a drumkit for exsample.
I don't know if this is correct for your particular drum machine/kit of choice, but in Redrum, you do this by flipping the rack around creating the required new mix channels, and patching them in by hand, from the operate outs per drum, you can then get rid of the device output mix channel.
So doable if the machine has separate assignable outs, I think most do.

Have you tried to import a midi song? Try to just drag a .mid file into the sequencer. If the midi file contain a drumkit it will autogenerate an ID8 (general midi Reason stock device).Lafinmusic wrote: ↑04 Feb 2021Hi I m new to Reason and just wonder if its possbile to route midi lanes to a mixer channel to mix a drumkit for exsample.
Drag and drop Redrum over the ID8. Easier to start with some midi downloaded from the internet. There's a lot you can learn this way.
Good music lad.
