Turn Off Loops In A List Guitars?

In A List Guitars, like Finger Picking Nylon, how do I turn off the prerecorded patterns/loops and just use it as a guitar sound module, to play my own melodies/patterns? I can't find any button to do so.

Worth noting that the A List devices aren’t designed to be typical sound modules, so the approach here is more like an officially designed hack. That said, you can get good results - just takes a bit more work.

You can also setup custom patterns with cv for instance with the matrix
