I would like to join, but the requirement is to already own a copy of Reason 11. But since I will install the beta besides the stable version, what is the point of this requirement?
That you cannot use a newer version than you already have.

Hmm ok, kinda get it, although the difference between v10 and 11 is not that drastic.
But well, I guess it does prevent some false bug reports I guess by not being familiar with the newer options.

What I can say is, Reason Studio's support crew is actually listening and solving problems! I was happy to point a few out!

So, what's up with this beta program?

Tehy've made a big deal recruiting beta testers and for the last 6 months or so there was nothing to test? And before that, no new features, just some bug fixes? That's pretty weak compared to say Bitwig or Live, where you actually test - for several weeks/months - actual NEW version of the software, often radically improved compared to current version. What is even the point of this beta program?

(this is a stealth plea to let me/us test the high-res stuff ;) :D )

I concur it's a waste of good production time, I've moved on...

How do you know they're not testing anything? The beta testers are probably under NDA.

Yep, that is something some beta tester may forget. Even if there wouldn't be anything new, you shouldn't talk about it. Easy is that.

Personally I’d rather spend my evenings and weekends with my kids than working free of charge beta testing Reason for RS.
I, along with many, have sent bug reports on Props products over and over without any results so...well, there you have it.
That’s how I feel about it but of course others may feel differently. They’re not doing us any favors though. That I’m sure of.
This sums up my thoughts exactly too, as a long time user having reported issues to no avail.

I've been a Beta Tester for them in the past. I stopped because they pretty much ignored the bugs I reported and shipped the software anyway.
Kinda pointless.
Were they bugs though or just poor design decisions? lol!

Yeah because you could just be signing up so you get a later version of Reason instead of paying and have no intention of beta testing. Not saying that's you Arjanders, just saying some people may do that.

Ones I reported were definitely bugs. They even said so themselves. Nothing done about them.

What explanation did they give for not fixing?

They didn’t. Apparently RS don’t have to explain themselves. Ongoing saga. Usch!

I guess if we didn’t laugh we’d cry. And as my grandma in Aberdeen used to say “Fit ye dinna greet y’ll pee. “

I'm thinking grandma in Aberdeen wanted him to finish his dinner while she has a pee. You know, overactive bladders are common in old people.

There's a link, but the support team never replies when you have trouble accessing it. It happened to me twice, from whatever computer I tried to access. Emailed support each time, DMed RS each time. Never got any reply. I don't know if I was the only one to have such issues, but I can tell you the Reason Studios' support team is genuinely useless.
