Right...well I think everybody pretty much had something right. Here's how it ended up.
Reason time sig. 3/4
Tempo 100BPM
8 Bars of piano played in 3/4 time.
Evolution
Rate 1/8, Steps 48, Sequence plays for 8 bars then repeats
Rate 1/8, Steps 24, sequence plays for 4 bars then repeats.
Rate 1/8 Steps 12, sequence plays for 2 bars and then repeats
etc.
Then Rate 1/4 halves the speed and 1/16 doubles it.
In any case I've got it working the way I want it now so thanks once again to everybody for the input.
Evolution question: Waltz.
You could use a redrum or some other device (draw in the sequencer?) to make your own click track.

Swedes are probably more efficient than Norwegians. I heard in Germany xmas is only 2 hours long

Had a few extra coins during the Xmas sale and purchased 'Evolution' and after reading through the manual I'm pretty sure it can be used to send a spaceship to the moon. After a second read I thought Mars is a better choice. But after a third read it's starting to make sense. I'll report back when I reach orbit.
