Laurent Garnier
What have you been listening to?
I discovered the Strike Boys recently. There's this "lounge" radio channel on my set top box and I like what's played on there, sometimes even close to breakbeats. So there's this song and I'm like wtf, this is some goooood shit! So I shazam it, and here it is. Their album is on youtube, I highly recommend it.

20+ year old trance. 2trancentral is a channel on YouTube with a TON of old school trance & techno that's dope AF. I've been discovering a lot of old stuff that I didn't hear back in the day.
Stereolab, from the early 90s, before they turned into a lounge pop act. Man they were good

I've been playing Christmas songs fron Spotify recently. And I got two stereo speakers in my living room. But the problem is Spotify can not be played on my speakers. So then I download Spotify to MP3 and then cast the songs offline through Bluetooth. Glad that it works.

Agreed! I saw Stereolab when they were touring in support of their "Mars Audiac Quintet" album back in late 1994 - simply incredible. They were so well rehearsed - hearing them live was almost no different than closing your eyes and listening to the studio recording - they were THAT tight back then. Such a great band:

Never saw them live IIRC but they are sorely missed here too. I actually quite liked the later loungey 'lab, there nothing quite like social deconstructionist exposes sung with a quaint accent while you sip a cocktail or two. Lounge against the Machine indeed!EnochLight wrote: ↑23 Jan 2021Agreed! I saw Stereolab when they were touring in support of their "Mars Audiac Quintet" album back in late 1994 - simply incredible.
