Has Sequences been on sale before or does anyone expect it to at any point?

It is Rent-To-Own though. I wonder if I hold off till a sale whether the Rent-To-own will apply to the sale price?

The rent to own price will stay the same as it is currently.

€43 was what it was on sale? I'm guessing so that's just over £38, quite a big reduction really.MrFigg wrote: ↑29 Oct 2020Yeah. Just checked. €43.Creativemind wrote: ↑29 Oct 2020

They do some really good Re's - Robotic Bean. Handclap Studio looks really good too.

Yesterday we lowered the regular prices of most of our products in the RS Shop with a couple of dollars, including Sequences.Creativemind wrote: ↑29 Oct 2020Has Sequences been on sale before or does anyone expect it to at any point?
It was to compensate a little for the exchange rate adjustments that Reason Studios made last summer.
The new regular price for Sequences is 65 USD / 70 EUR / 60 GBP / 90 CAD.
We will also put it on proper sale towards the end of November (3-4 weeks from now), so you might want to wait a little bit.
Rent To Own is always based on the regular price, not discounted prices.

Oh yes Buddard. Nice of you to give me the heads up. Can I also ask, there is at least one more update to Sequences coming in the future isn't there?

I'm pretty sure it will!
I just pulled out of the ES400 song challenge for the sole reason that after reading the rules I saw I wasn’t allowed to use More Cowbell. My vision was crushed.

It's not fully decided nor planned at this point (lots of other stuff going on right now!), but it would be a lot of fun for sure!Creativemind wrote: ↑29 Oct 2020Can I also ask, there is at least one more update to Sequences coming in the future isn't there?

Yes, that last update put this thing over the top, indeed!
We've released Sequences 1.4.2, which includes a couple of bug fixes:
- Shifting the pattern rapidly using the drag gesture could make the CV lanes go out of phase with the rest of the pattern
- Improved playback behaviour when moving around the song position manually or by looping in Block mode
A new update on this gem ?
That is awesome !
PS: It´s my everyday use tool since it came out.

I've been holding out on getting Sequences for a long time now. I just love the SH-01A sequencer and it seems like it's a very similar / powerful tool.
I have 2 small questions before I take the plunge. I couldn't find any information about remotable controls in the PDF manual.
1) Is it possible to assign the Advance / Erase Note button to a MIDI controller as a on/off ? If so, is it also possible to do so while using the RRP ? I'm asking because I don't want to have to reach for the mouse every time I want to insert a rest.
2) Is it also possible to MIDI map a "Slide" fonction as a on/off to a MIDI controller ?
Thank you.

And Sequences is on sale right now through the end of November, so if you don't have it yet I strongly suggest that you grab it!

Yes, you can Remote control the following properties during recording:Data_Shrine wrote: ↑21 Nov 20201) Is it possible to assign the Advance / Erase Note button to a MIDI controller as a on/off ? - Undo Step/Note
- Redo
- Advance/Erase Notes (Advance while step recording, Erase in realtime mode)
- Clear Pattern Recording
- Recording Mode (i e Overdub, Replace, Insert)
You mean ties? No, they currently have to be programmed in the display. You can sort of get slides by still holding the previous note when entering the next one, but then both notes will end at the same time, which could cause unwanted results in some situations.Data_Shrine wrote: ↑21 Nov 20202) Is it also possible to MIDI map a "Slide" fonction as a on/off to a MIDI controller ?

Yes, I meant ties. It's ok anyway, it's not something that I would use as often as rests, even if it would be nice. Thank you for the quick answer ! I will grab it shortly.buddard wrote: ↑21 Nov 2020Yes, you can Remote control the following properties during recording:Data_Shrine wrote: ↑21 Nov 20201) Is it possible to assign the Advance / Erase Note button to a MIDI controller as a on/off ?
