I didn't see it mentioned. A very nice MIDI filter, currently on sale for Eur9

I noticed this and it is i think the 3rd device in the Shop that helps to map notes to different notes (or CV values). Not sure where the differences are between them. I gonna check them out deeply, if i need such a mapping.

I think this one comes in quite handy, if you also want to filter some notes, but this can also be done with Scales&Chords.

This is, I think, the Player device I've been asking for. One that lets you filter a range of notes. This will let us really use the players in a modular way.
If you ain't hip to the rare Housequake, shut up already.

Damn.

This is exactly the kind of device I've been missing, for instance when I'm using the PSQ-1684 and spend too much time fiddling and fine tuning the range and offset knobs on the quantizer, to stay away from those piercing high notes, or when I want to use an lfo set to random to do note values for an instrument. With this you can set the range of the notes and not worry about it anymore.

This is actually what I thought the Midi Compressor would be able to help me do, but that only deals with velocity, so I guess this is another (sigh) instabuy for me. Good work, Mr. Panda!

Can one set two instances of "Scales and Chords" and "UTL" filter/route, say, notes in octave 1 to Player 1, and octave 2 to Player 2?
I suppose some combinator wizardry is needed… if at all possible.
I am looking for, e.g., play minor chords in octave 1 and major chords in octave 2.
Same instrument playing the sound.

You need 2 Scales & Chords in a Combinator. Each has any pseudo instrument without any output.

One instrument is programed for low keyboard area in the Combinator, the other one set to higher notes.

Now put a CVPT below each Scale & Chords, grab the notes and combine it to another CVPT that sits above your real synth in the Combinator and that synths output is connected to the Combinator output.

Pay attention, that this synth does not receive notes in the Combinator.

Play the Combinator and have fun.
