I'm very excited to see this!

Don't overlook it as only being a lav recorder. As some of you know, I've been using the Zoom F1 for binaural recordings along with the Sound Professionals MS-TFB-2 in-ear binaural mics. And that has worked very well. I've only encountered clipping a few times and I've learned how to manage it, but having 32-bit float would be very handy.

[EDIT] Unlike the F1, the F2 records to mono only. So it would not work for binaural recordings.

It's available with or without Bluetooth.

32-bit/44.1kHz audio resolution

Nice - but no Screen?!
I like your F1 better - if just for the screen.

It also records to 48kHz.

You would need the Bluetooth version to have a display on your phone or tablet. This is to keep it as portable as possible. One complaint of the F1 is that it isn't as discreet if you are mic'ing someone on film.

"It also records to 48kHz." - I appreciate the info.

I still love my H2n - but @16kHz - I wish they'd update it. I love the form-factor.
What is the New Zoom H2n - if you dont mind?

Do you have the H2n? It supports up to 24-bit/96 kHz

Something I overlooked—Unlike the F1, the F2 records to mono only. So it would not work for binaural recordings.
