By all this currently active threads about wobble fx i stumbled over a trick which sounds like a tape start/stop effect by scrolling through a delay buffer by changing the delay buffer size. Should be easily achievable with every delay.
Here is a Combinator showing how to setup this up. In the end you just can hook up any delay and modulate the delay buffer size, prefereable without syncing. Press "start" to a get a up speed to slow down fx and press "stop" for a classic tape stop. Note, that as soon as the delay buffer size is reached the normal sound is played. I added some more Combinator controls for experimenting.
If you want to get the "wobble", just modulate the buffer size a little bit and you are done.
You can get very glitchy, if you start to modulate/automate the buffer size faster/slower or rythmic.
Happy experimenting!
