Looks interesting. My friend has a WEM lying in his living room floor in bits right now. This looks like a good emulation and it’s not in bits :). Intro price €39 until December.

Arsch. I’ll demo it just out of nostalgia but I won’t be buying it. Nice GUI though.

the average Reason user, no matter how savvy, can’t “build” a modeled plugin—at least not without a ridiculous amount of trial and error.

they do make excellent plugins, but my needs are pretty well-covered at this point, so it’s definitely not a need for me. I just don’t get the point of dropping into a thread about a plugin you aren’t interested in just to point out that you aren’t interested in it.

I have no idea about the details, but i always go for "what do i have in my mind and what sound do i want, than i build it". Here is a example with 4 heads and some fx, giving it a special touch. I recommend to turn all the knobs and see what happens. Its an amazing freedom you have if you build your own stuff.

Here, just for you :-)

And here one, with a bit more extreme settings. But you need SSL rack gate for it.

I once tried the SnareBuzz, because i wanted something like this and i was tired to hook up the whole Kong all the time for this, but it crashed instantly. I try to avoid their plugins since than.

ah, fair. I should’ve said they make at least one excellent plugin—Cassette—since it’s the only one I have.

It ate my PC, DSP in the red even at lower quality setting, so watch for that. I like Waves Factory stuff but not this one.

Instant buy from me. Haunting and beautiful sound. Deep configuration options. Sexy UI as usual.
About Wavesfactory as a company, I reported a bug once, to which I immediately got a reply from Jésus that the bug fix will come the next day, and it did.

Yeah only 5 instances of the plugin and my PC bugs out at the highest buffer size. Would never use it (if I owned it) with this kind of performance.

Any proof that it actually works better?
