That is going to sell like hotcakes!

It was a little disappointing to see the vintage knob on it (because it screams emulated vintage) but everything else looks very impressive and authentic. (The equivalent 'slop' on my Mopho x4 did very little to make it sound vintage even though it had an analog signal path). The packaging and finish are incredible!

I'm happy with Repro-5 but looking forward to hearing more of this in action!

This was also just teased recently by a company called PikoPiko Factory—a Prophet-Mini. Not sure if it is real and will be available...

Awesome. Was gonna buy a good analogue polysynth before Christmas. Now I know what I'm getting.

Just looked up the price though - £3, 315 I saw it at one shop and that was roughly 40 miles from my city here in the U.K. Man that's a bit out my budget lol!

For some reason. This is 4 voice only.

I'm very much looking forward to the Behringer version of the classic. Something I can afford.

This is going to be over three grand. Behringer's Pro-800 will have 8 voices and be just $600. Just saying.

I never understood the Behringer hate. They make great affordable synths.

Looking forward to the Behringer clone of this. I bet you could 3 of them for the price of the official one.

My instinct is this kind of price gouging means that ultimately we will have fewer nice things.

But I totally understand that it's a boon for musicians who don't have access to expensive stuff.

I'd buy this if I had the cash spare.

So Behringer have a Prophet 5 emulation coming out?

It’s just a rumour at this point.

Wow - it sounds great!

Though it would have been good to hear the raw sound without it being bathed in FX. (from the video text: It is important to note that the Prophet 5 reissue, like the original, does NOT contain any onboard effects. In this video, I used combinations of chorus, delay, and reverb and other FX to create the best ambience for the recording. I used the Strymon trifecta: Mobius (modulation), Timeline (delay), and Big Sky (reverb). )

As much as the synth capability, there's some great programming in these patches. I'd love to see a patch sheet to try and recreate them in Repro!
Also a pretty good tutorial on how to play 80's chords :)

Or if the price is too steep you could buy u-he Repro plus a Soundforce SFC-5 controller, all for less than a Behringer.

IK Multimedia just gave out their Prophet Syntronik today as a freebie. Coincidence again?
