Huh. Nice freebie, but to get it you apparently have to install the entire T-Racks 5 suite of plugins, which is 1.8GB

If you look in the Tutorial section I describe how to do clipping with the stock Maximizer. The IK version has nice displays and is a little easier to use, but clipping is very much a listen to what is happening anyhow so it doesn't matter much. Yep, big download for just one plugin.

I just grabbed it and sure enough, it downloaded & installed all 38 plugins in the suite
Good news though is that as well as the clipper, I seem to have gotten their 1176 compressor and 6 band EQ for free as well - neither of which I particularly need, but the 1176 sure is tasty
All the other plugins ask for registration and glitch out every ten seconds in demo mode, but the comp & EQ seem to be mine forever, unless I'm missing something

They must have included those as they were freebies in their previous giveaway in beat magazine #174dvdrtldg wrote: ↑09 Sep 2020I just grabbed it and sure enough, it downloaded & installed all 38 plugins in the suite

It's very generous of them to offer this for free, but I won't even try because I spent an hour cleaning up my current IK installation and I don't want to repeat that process. Someone clever should develop some sort of script for managing IK plugins. So that you just install the plugins you need and everything else gets tossed out.

Install them into a different folder and delete the ones you don't want... then move the ones you want into your VST folder.
