“Return To Reason” is an instrumental tune from a few years back. I used Radical Keys for the electric piano, Quad for the intro synth lead, Applied Acoustic System’s String Studio for the violin, Trillian for bass, Orange Tree Samples for lead guitar, and BFD Jazz and Funk Refill for the drums. The violin, bass and guitar were played on LinnStrument and the drums were triggered in real time on a Zendrum. The orchestral part at the end was played in real time on a whole orchestra patch from Symphobia 2.

Thanks for listening!

That's very tasty! Return to Forever-ish, as the name suggests....

Really cool. Not the type of music I listen to, but I liked it anyway. Favorite part for me was probably the intro.
The 1:20-1:35 reminded me of Pantera - Cowboys from hell during the solo part. :) Just listen from 2:26 and forward.

Cool tune!

I am stylistically all over the place and like progressive metal except for the vocals. Musically, it is quite good (in my view).

Thanks.

Yes. Yes you are.
This all sounds really good. Love all the riffing and grooves. Nicely done.
I liked orchestra stuff at the end - but way too short!

Thanks very much! I thought about extending the end but felt the song was long enough.

That's great, amazing expressive chops on the LinnStrument! (Liked your other prog tunes on SC too!)

Well, maybe.I just thought that section could be fleshed out into a complete song, imo. It's pretty cool. :)

I had not thought of that! Maybe I should work on a Part 2...

Thanks!
