Chord memory ?

Have any feature requests? No promise they'll get to Reason Studios, but you can still discuss them here.

That's a bit vague?

If you want to create stiff chord you can use note echo, if your after repitched chords then sample the chord you want and place it into nnxt

Or maybe give a bit more of an explanation to the question,

Yeah I'm a bit surprised that no-one has made a chord memory device. Note Echo can do this, but it only goes in one direction upwards or downwards from the root note, so if you want to have a chord that goes up a fifth and down a fifth, you need to stack two of them.

I still think if you're after that technique just bounce the chord to audio and load the sample into something like nnxt is the simplest option.

Here's an example. It isn't perfect as the first Player also triggers the second. This would be easier with a dedicated device.

I'm not 100% certain what he means but I'm pretty certain it ain't either of those 2 ideas. An NN-XT which plays up and down and changes speed? lol!

Does the nnxt not use the tempo data saved in the audio?
If it doesn't then sorry swap the playback device to grain.

It's not really a technique that i use.

Step 0
Repeats Max
Pitch 1

Then pick the interval as required

It's in the manual somewhere

Perhaps record your Chord into Robotic Bean's Sequencer, and then set the play back to one shot and enable midi transposition...
or simply use note echo and dial in your notes manually.

Another feature that would be Nice in combinator IS (i'm not sure about the name) toggle button ? I mean a button that desactivates when you stop pressing it... Not two state buttons (Switch) on/off ..

Without checking I'm guessing a minor 9th but I could be well off "without checking"

Interval look like root + minor 3rd i.e. 3 semitones then perfect 5th i.e. 7 semitones so minor with a 7th & 9th

But check, note echo is really handy for making stiff chords. Sometimes called parallel

That's because you need to put the detector at the bottom of the player stack
