Sounds pretty good and is free.

If someone is bored, the source code is under GPL and a RE port would be welcome ;)

It sounds really harsh to me but after putting it through some tubes/valves it sounds great. Highs are too fizzy and yucky, and it could use some thickness. I run it through PM's Analoger and Audiothing's Valves - sounds so much better.

Just want to point out that you can lower the BRIGHT AMT to zero and that fixes the harshness. Adding some external grit and thickness to it sounds even better.

How is this free? I see it listed as $49 on the website. Maybe you meant to say the update is free for current owners? ;-)

Just click on the format you want on the left and download it free. If you decide you like it and want to give them some money then do that. It’s free.

So, it's donationware? I guess I didn't know that part. Thanks.

I downloaded it to test it, but I can't find a way to save a patch. I suppose there would be the difference if it is paid.

You have to use your DAWs "save VST patch" feature.
