Hey can anyone recommend a keyboard for learning how to play piano on?
Im not thinking a controller ... something with its own sounds? Maybe something to plug into ipad ( yep thats more a controller ) but it would primarily be so the kids can learn the piano, so I don't really want to have to turn on the PC etc.
Something with enough octaves that you can have out on the coffee table or a stand in corner of room.
I dont know about budget yet but say 300 american $?
keyboard for kids/adult learning
How old are they and how are you intending they should learn? Can’t you let them plunk and plonk on your keyboard through Reason? My three kids are really musical and can play loads of instruments. My ex wife bought some app for iPad which teaches you to play the piano. My eldest has come in so far that she’s taking piano as her second instrument after violin. I can check the name of it if you’re interested.
Edit: just saw you want to avoid turning on the pc.
