I have not tried it but I run into this and thought I would share: https://www.zrythm.org/en/index.html

Zrythm
a highly automated and intuitive digital audio workstation

This caught my attention: Anywhere-to-anywhere connections => Connect anything to anything

Looks interesting, but it's going to cost £5 per month. There is a demo free would be interested to know if RRP works in it as VST3 support is "experimental"

does look cool. I pulled up a video from last month on youtube for it and by the end of the 2-hour vid, it had crashed 6 or 7 times (there was a counter 😆). hopefully they get those bugs squashed and get it more stable because it does seem interesting.

Looks interesting and not too complicated. The modulation system looks interesting, maybe a bit confusing at start. I may give it a try, but i am not sure, if everything from modulation stuff is inside the trial version.

I will not use a DAW with a required sub... a sub for plugins is one thing but not for the actual DAW.

Firstly, it's free (like Ardour where source code freely available). Secondly, you can purchase a fully licensed installation without a subscription.

Keep a lookout for a free installer in some software distribution manager like Chocolatey (win), etc.

Everything about that home page says to me "not ready yet". And let's face it, the world does not need another DAW.

The Windows demo stalled on me when scanning EWQL's Play.
