May have meant: https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... ecimort-2/

Thankfully they're both on sale. 😉

Decimort is all the bitcrusher you'll ever need - half the value of Decimort and Devastor are the extensive included presets which let you audition different sounds very quickly.

I’d recommend these three, because they all have their own character:

Decimort 2
TAL-DAC
SP950

But only one is available as RE, I believe.

RX950 is great too, though strictly a ratecrusher modelling the S950 and its filter.

Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Another vote for Decimort 2. Really love that RE. Devastor 2 as well. Both excellent. both currently on sale at 35%.

I was just having a look to see if there's anything like Ableton's little "vinyl distortion" effect in VST, and came across this very detailed explanation of that effect by its creator: https://forum.ableton.com/viewtopic.php?t=2463

I like using Rp distort , many algorithms , including bitcrush
RP Distort is excellent, nobody ever seems to talk about it much. Very versatile, I love it
