I have KONG pad 16 gate out to a synth.

But how could I set things up so that each time I press the pad a different note is played ( or a specific range of notes ) ?

Obviously I could LFO to pitch on the synth.... but that's not controlled enough. Say I want a specific range of notes, a certain key might even do.

You could use the CV8x4 (free device) to tune in your notes and send that as the note data, for different notes you can add a random LFO scaled down to add notes etc.

I have a patch called "CV Patch Notes.cmd" which has all the notes listed out on CV8x4.

There is also RE in the shop https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... ltiplexer/

Delta could do this as well, gate and note (using the CV8x4) then in Delta you have a random note function and you can limit the range of that randomation https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... -computer/
