can't wait for the RE release
even tough i'm not planning to use the VST, would it really be more interesting for the dev to buy the VST and crossgrade to RE for free? (as i think i read in this topic)
I have a Synapse account, and i'm happy to support them because they make awesome products !
Cheers !
Synapse Audio "Obsession" RE - coming soon!
Looks like an actualy OB-6 owner rates the Obsession quite highly.

Any chance this might show up in the rewards store in the foreseeable?
(It looks amazing btw - nice going SynapseAudio!)

I would say you find it odd, because you are "not used to it" . It´s the same for me i would say.
I think its great, because it uses reasons "speciality". No other DAW has the backpanel and Imo they use the place very efficient.

My bad all. I wasn't intentionally spreading misinformation.EdGrip wrote: ↑04 Jul 2020Well! This changes things.EnochLight wrote: ↑04 Jul 2020
I'm not sure where you got this idea, as this is patently false. Devs can issue RE licenses at no cost to a user or the dev even if their product is being sold in the shop for a price. All they need is your username for your account. It's really quite simple.
This means if you want Synapse to get the most benefit from your purchase, you should buy the VST and get the free RE.
Perhaps it was something that was different when I joined a few years ago (right before burnout de-railed any capacity to follow through on my dreams of an audio software side hustle).
More likely just a crossed wire in my head leading to spouting bullshit
