What's happened to JRR SHOP?

Is this a local problem for me (???) or ... have they stopped trading?
A shame if they have as I did like to buy from them.

You'd think they would have said something on Facebook or Twitter but the most recent posts on there are from the 5th. Maybe the crazy rush for Studio One upgrades blew a fuse (Presonus' own website struggled for a couple of days).
Uncle E is JRR.

Why doesn´t he give some information ?
Like how long it is "planned(?)" to be down ? Or a cause ( even a marketing-idiom one)?
Thats kinda strange, i hope they have not "other" problems going on.

Check my Soundcloud:
On the KVR forum the chap said yesterday "I'll know more tomorrow". So it sounds like they either don't know what has happened to the site or they are discovering that their backups and/or emergency recovery plan are not quite what they thought. It could be as simple as the web server going down and the backups not restoring properly. Interesting, in an expensive way.
Without sounding like a conspiracy theorist... if it was just a simple 'down for maintenance' situation, they would be a lot clearer (up front and open) on Facebook and forums (like KVR etc.)
The fact that they are staying tight lipped smells of serious problems.
OR... maybe they've just had enough and are now sitting on a beach enjoying their hard earned wealth! And if so... fair play! Just say 'Thanks and goodbye' on your way to the airport.
Check my Soundcloud:
Has anybody actually contacted them on Facebook?
It doesn't look like they just ghosted without a trace. Their homepage says:
"JRR Shop is down for maintenance. Please contact us through Facebook for customer support or to place orders."

Right before this message came up, i saw some weird database trace... Looks like some heavy work is going on.

JRR Shop website has been broken for at least a day now.
Anyone know what's going on?
I apologize. If there's anything you need, please PM me. Also, if there was ever a product you were interested in that we're not allowed to discount on our website, now is the time to get it.

It's certainly an interesting dynamic when a shop gets in trouble for advertising sale prices lower than a minimum agreed sale price (that's why sometimes you see things like "call us for the price"). And meanwhile Korg and Roland are fined recently for price-fixing...
Private messages for “better” prices sounds... well it sounds just like a scam if the person would be total stranger. In this situation it still sounds “wrong” or strange at least.
I wonder how they’ll handle the payments if their shop is down and people “buy” stuff via private messages

"If you're still not happy with the price, come and see me out back, after the boss has gone".... <wink>Ulpu wrote: ↑16 Jul 2020Private messages for “better” prices sounds... well it sounds just like a scam if the person would be total stranger.
