Yeah, sorry. Thought it didn't work at all. It tries to load REs, but the authorizer doesn't want to authorize.

This is a disaster for Reason Studios since GarageBand is the music software Apple bundles free with their computers. This means all Mac computers, out of the box, are not compatible with the Reason Rack Plug-In. I'm curious where the mistake was made. Did Apple fail to implement their own AU standard in GarageBand? Is Reason doing something against the rules?
Well, that’s it done. For €1.50 I’ve bought all my REs out of captivity. If I should want to use any of my sampler based refills then Rewire (10.4) would seem to be my friend. I’ve got Radical Piano as a paid RE from ages ago. I’ve got Audiomatic, Pulsar and Synchronous REs all of which I got for free with previous upgrades and Europa VST which I also got free. So come hell or high water I’m good if I should ever wish to move to another DAW. .
Oh yeah...forgot...additionally a good few of the workflow features they added in Reason 11 .
All that said however, I’ll probably upgrade to Reason 12 when that arrives hahaha

I had 55p virtual cash. You get 20p back for rating it by the way .
Credit to my friend for finding it for me.

Just looked at my account. Online only. What's with that?!!!hurricane wrote: ↑04 Jul 2020I have nothing authorized to my Mac - everything is on the USB. I removed my old R10 lite license to see if it made a difference. Nope. I refreshed and authorized everything to my USB just now, and Lite 11.3.1 from Plugin Boutique still shows as online only. I bet this is a new thing with fresh Lite 11.3 installations.
Edit: Contacted support. See how long it takes to get an answer. Been waiting three weeks for an answer to the last ticket I opened.
Edit 2: Have also contacted PB support.

And online only, meh I'm always online anyway, it's nice to be able to look up YouTube tutorials or listen to reference tracks (or browse RT)
I had some virtual cash too, so I bought it for 1 euro. Online only unfortunately.MrFigg wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020https://www.pluginboutique.com/product/ ... -Sphene-LE.

And there's the thing. Absolutely no mention of the Online Only thing anywhere. Now that's very misleading.
And what's that transfer box all about?

When it comes to ReasonTalk, you can certainly ask questions of other users to confirm a bug or find some solutions, but this is not an official forum of Reason Studios—it's run by users. RS does chime in from time to time, but if I wanted to ask a question of them directly or report something, I would contact them directly.

How is anyone getting the 11.2 Lite version? (not the free 11.3 RPP)
I have a copy of 10.4 Lite through an Akai purchase, but do not see any upgrade path to Lite 11 (not the RPP)
Thanks

There is no upgrade path from 10 Lite to 11 Lite, only a paid upgrade to 11 Intro or higher.stratatonic wrote: ↑05 Jul 2020How is anyone getting the 11.2 Lite version? (not the free 11.3 RPP)

The 11.2 thing is people getting the free 11.3 from PB then downloading 11.2 from here and using the 11.3 licence on it :

This just keeps getting funnier. I'm an official Reason 10 owner with an Ignition Key and my workflow now requires an internet connection to load a Reason plug-in that has no Kong. XD. I sincerely hope someone at Reason Studios is shaking their head right now.

So, the Lite 11 version has all the regular Reason 11 workflow changes? like crossfades, curves, draw multiple notes etc??
Thanks

I MISS ERNST.
Here are my thoughts on this:
If anybody here is a Reason Intro/Standard/Suite user, you are spending too much energy trying to get the Lite RRP and Lite standalone to work for you. It's not made with a focus on you. We're talking about a version made to be bundled for free with hardware and offered for free on Plugin Boutique. It's a version to entice new customers and non-Reason users.
Hasn't Reason Lite always required online authorization? And is that such a big deal?
The workaround to keep 11.2 Lite installed with 11.3 RRP makes sense for people who are primarily Lite users. If you weren't previously on Lite, stop trying to make it into something made for you and accept it for what it is. It is not made in mind for people on Reason 10 standard etc., who haven't upgraded to get the RRP. It's certainly a great way to play with it a bit, but don't act like they owe you and need to have it function like something it's not intended to be.
