There were a few really good specially offers I forgot about, and it was so annoying when I realized I'd missed it.
I'm over it now, but I'm curious. Does this happen often to others?
Which special offers have you missed out on that you regret the most?
I was ashamed.
1. Reason 11 upgrade discount (I was on the fence, but completely forgot about it, ... pretty sure I was gonna buy it but got distracted)
2. This Ferrari Sidewinder steering wheel for £55 (going for £99 now)
3. Selig Colouring EQ (was trialling it just to make sure ... then got sidetracked with work and forgot ...)
4. Humble Bundle, Tekken 7 on PC for £12 (although you can also get the one with all characters so far for £30 ... if that offer is still running)
5. Korg Triton VST (think it was $100 off at release), I should have just got it, no questions asked
6. Nintendo Switch brand new from Argos for £230
7. UF8 for £100 from cash converters
8. This GTX 1080 going for £100 and a GTX 950 going for £30 at CEX
There were lots more. I've seen some real steals lately but I have pretty much everything I need, and half of the stuff I buy at a discount I don't touch for years.
It's just that sometimes one small purchase can become your best companion, like that nifty Xpand!2 VST I got for £10. It's my go-to device for bread & butter sounds now.
R11 Intro when it was £49 and just recently VK2 for £26.

When the Synapse bundle was like $49. Still kicking myself over that one.
I don't regret missing bargains in recent years. I do regret the bargains I gave to other people about 25 years ago. I sold off pretty much all my rack synths and outboard effects. Original purchase cost well into 5 figures. Selling price was way, way lower. All big name stuff: Roland, Akai, Emu, Yamaha. These days I see some of them going for 5 times the price new back then but I needed the money. I guess that's how it works.
Maybe if I'd been paying attention back then I would also regret not buying up all the vintage analogue synths that were unloved and are now so precious!

A cheap Mini Moog many eons ago, but I got 4 other analog beasts so not much of a regret, and The Legend fixes that mostly. Just noticed the other week I still have an analog vocoder, maybe I should open more boxes, lol...
10% off at Waves with link: https://www.waves.com/r/6gh2b0

Wasn't really a special offer but someone was selling a GTX 1660 OC 6GB they never used for $250 which is like a $400 card in Canada...I did the responsible thing and left it because I didn't want to face the wrath of a pissed off wife.
