Hi All!
I had some headphones ages ago that had a frequency range of 17kHz - 22kHz or there abouts. They were cheap lol! Sennheiser though.
Anyway, I could still hear bass frequencies through them. Theoretically I shouldn't have been able to should I. How was this possible?
Thanks!

Why shouldn't you be able to hear bass frequencies? Do you have a hearing problem?
easiest way to think is 20 20 not vision anything out of that range we wont hear usually example 20 Hz low end 20 Khz high end is our range but not all of us can hear that extreme highs or lows , if you say in your 50s this gets narrower ,
so if your headphones are 17hz and 22khz you are well in the hearing range , a lot of headphones including cheap ones are well in range, how it sounds is a different story and our hearing is all different from one person to another
headphones can get confusing but 20 20 is a quick guide
