Lockdown Selfies: Your Pandemic Portrait
This is what I looked like in 2000.
I've spent about 2 hours today setting up a new orchestral strings template in Studio One. 5 string sections, 6 or 7 articulations in each section plus a few solos instruments - lots of RAM! Without track folders and mixer channel hiding it would be a nightmare to manage.
It has a really neat feature where if you minimise a track folder, say Violins 1, you can automatically hide the equivalent channels in the mixer and just leave a single fader for that group. That fader maintains all the relative volumes for the hidden channels. It's an absolute dream to work with and the same stuff is available in several other "proper" Daws. I know the rack view is the USP of Reason but the other two views could seriously use some love. Actually, the rack view could use some love too. How about a feature where it hides anything that is not connected to the active track? Less clutter, more clarity.
