[Acid House] Matt Aquila - The Streets

This is a revisit of a very old track that I entered into a community competition and had actually forgotten about until a friend pointed out that someone had shared it on YouTube. I originally wrote it back in 2001 in honour of 9/11. So, 19 years later it felt fitting to revisit the tune again as we face a dark time ahead, reminding us all that we can shine our lights brighter than ever before.

The visuals were created in an old copy of Lightwave 3D, and loosely inspired by the Amiga demoscene.

This is the original. Interestingly, both feature an acid bass breakdown. I used ABL2 for the new version, but the original came from Rebirth.

Nice upbeat track, the new version feels a bit like late 90ies trance (chicane, bt) and the old sounds a bit like dreadzone or something like that. Also: greetings Amiga brother!
