I just came across this video (Making 50 games in 1 Day!), and think it would be a brilliant challenge for the daring Reasonista!

Haha, ... well we had that 5 minute competition from Propellerhead a few years back so apart from the ear fatigue I think this is more than doable - especially if reuse is allowed.

I might try 2-4 hours at 10 minutes per track. It could work out to be a useful creative process.

Build a working template and some procedural setups to go with it, and then it doesn't really matter what the x value is, you can make 20,000 tunes in one day if it floats your boat.

This is a cool idea :)

If it's purely for music making, not the whole production process etc, but just to get the music itself down quickly. An extension of this which might go well is to do "10 mins on, 5 mins off", and use the 5 mins to listen to something else, or maybe watch some tv, thereby resetting the clock as it were.

And giving your ears some rest ;)

On a somewhat related note, the Korg Collection Demo has full featured demo with a 20 minute time limit with each load (and no saving). Think I might try it out at the same time.
