Yeah, MX excels also in simple mono bass sounds. Nothing wrong to use it also that way :puf_bigsmile: ...it can sound very analog, I got some very nice funk style analog basses. And also simplier sounds like sine wave or heavy LP filtered sound can support your mix with deep precise bass.

it can sound good with a bit of work really good for hard and aggressive sounds though.

Newest update, load your own samples in the noise osc.
You can load 1 or 2 samples now and route them into the filter (or after the filter if you prefer). That means you now technically can have 7 oscillator going into the filter (WT1+2, NS1+2, A/B/C).

Since the noise osc loops as default, it is easiest to drop in single cycle wave forms tuned to a C.

But: If going to the VOICE page you can set the Noise Osc to "One Shot" and drop in longer samples too and use it a simple one shot (duh).

Great for adding background trippy sounds, some special attack sound, and single cycle analog wave, or even a long resonant analog sweep.

Wouldn't be surprised we soon get to load you own wave tables and/or samples in the main oscillators.
10% off at Waves with link: https://www.waves.com/r/6gh2b0
Disclaimer - I get 10% as well.

And you can load a noisetable and automate its phase while it's playing: free grain engine!
