Really interesting, thak you for sharing! I actually also thought about using it for generating melodies, since you can control 8 different sounds with it, but the idea I had in mind was far less sophisticated. I thought about rendering 8 different notes (the notes of an octave), and throwing them into Kong.

I completely agree about BeatMap actually being more interesting for melodies than for drums.
