Live block trigger is in thread A
Not sure what you mean by block overlapping
I can't edit too much more because it's going to reset votes every time I think. Might have to live without some of the really fine detailed requests.
Gotcha. I'll be adding any more requests to google forms and will post that eventually when I've collected enough data

The simple answer is Make Ableton Jealous. Its time to start caring about the competition and doing things to match and/or beat it. For me this means advanced clip handling and better automation features. I can't stand the fact that Ableton gained such a huge following while Reason sat there and did almost nothing for so many years.
I'm confused
I think you went the best route you could with the google poll. some of the options I wasn’t sure about, but it’s a good poll. before you did that, I was thinking it might be cool to do brackets. like have a poll with two comparable features and see which wins, and put that up against the winner of another poll of two other comparable features. would probably be fun, but doubtful it would be very accurate.
If you are talking about the google forms poll, maybe it messed up because i added a comment box to it earlier? Not sure.
Ideas are welcome! Not sure on accuracy regardless. Sample size needs to be large, I'm trying to share it around so people outside of Reasontalk can partake as wellguitfnky wrote: ↑20 Feb 2020I think you went the best route you could with the google poll. some of the options I wasn’t sure about, but it’s a good poll. before you did that, I was thinking it might be cool to do brackets. like have a poll with two comparable features and see which wins, and put that up against the winner of another poll of two other comparable features. would probably be fun, but doubtful it would be very accurate.
Thanks, i'll remove it from the google forms poll. We're up to 34 responses on that poll

Another nuisance to fix is quantize setting and grid setting, put them for f&&ks sake next to each other, or add a little check box to link them. This is just as annoying as the "advanced algorithm for making the windows jump around randomly".

Select vertical slice 2 people? what?
To be clear: this is the feature where you can select a part of an audio clip with a rectangle and then make it into a slice with one keystroke, right? And nobody wants this?
What is edit slice threshold control? (pardon my ignorance)

How is this better than pressing R and then do the rectangle thing? I don't get the difference.EdwardKiy wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020Select vertical slice 2 people? what?

Slice threshold control refers (methinks) to, when you open an audio clip, it comes with a set number of slice markers, and what is wantes is the option to decrease these with some sort of slider, so you can chop up an audio loop in seconds with slices where you want them before either splitting them or bouncing to Rex.
My god, I was manually selecting slice points, or cutting at multiple points, then selecting and deleting etc. Shhh, don't tell anyone!PhillipOrdonez wrote: ↑14 Mar 2020

You've missed off my most wanted sequencer feature, whatever any other daw calls it - Aliased, Cloned, Linked or Mimic'd Clips.
Reason Studio's 11.3 / Cockos Reaper 6.82 / Cakewalk By Bandlab / Orion 8.6

None of the listed are important to me
