Prices are between $49 USD and $99 USD per module. This seriously might be my gateway into buying true modular, and that scares the living hell out of me (and my bank account).

Yeah very tempting.EnochLight wrote: ↑16 Jan 2020Prices are between $49 USD and $99 USD per module. This seriously might be my gateway into buying true modular, and that scares the living hell out of me (and my bank account).
I'd like to see them release something along the lines of the Waldorf KB37, but at a Behringer price. That would make a cool rig.

If I had any complaint, it's Behringer's choice of faceplate color. I'm just not feeling those black knobs on grey. Even the sliders just look... eh. Are those LED's on the sliders?

They've pretty much copied the style of the original devices. Not the most exciting looking Eurorack modules. But you can't argue with the price & functionality. You could build a complete synth in Eurorack for probably less money than ever before.EnochLight wrote: ↑16 Jan 2020If I had any complaint, it's Behringer's choice of faceplate color. I'm wondering if Roland are looking at this & thinking, 'why the feck didn't we do this ourselves?!'. These well sell like hot cakes at those prices. Could even see people taking the plunge into Eurorack where previously they were reluctant to willingly dive down the rabbit hole. Eurotrap!!

If you weren't alone, Behringer would bring out the modules in different colors tomorrow. The slogan "We hear you" has been confirmed many times.EnochLight wrote: ↑16 Jan 2020If I had any complaint, it's Behringer's choice of faceplate color. If I had any complaint, it's that "Behringer" is on the faceplate.
Couldn't resist!

Truth be told, if this was 10-15 years ago, I would *TOTALLY* agree with you, but Behringer has been knocking it out of the park these past years. Their hardware build quality is just leagues above what it used to be back in the day.

Yeah it was very cool what they did with the TD-3. So get your requests in!Noplan wrote: ↑17 Jan 2020If you weren't alone, Behringer would bring out the modules in different colors tomorrow. And speaking of the logo, the yellow TD-3 has the Behringer logo replaced by a smiley
I've used the original and holy smokes - that bass it outputs is clean as a bean and low as a flow. The original modules goes for like $500-$1500, these will be $49-$99 if I understood correctly. Thanks to Behringer we can all get the synths of our dreams. I'm not a modular type of guy but if that OBX will be released I'll start collecting empty bottles.
Thanks for sharing this. I'll update the first post and title of the thread.
Thanks. I didn't want to create a new thread for it

* sigh *
Goddammit... and there goes my bank account for 2020. Between this and the System 100 stuff, I think I'll be building TWO modulars this year!

Fun fact: the gates of the System 100 and System 55 are incompatible. They actually cloned the System 55 down to the gate/trigger standard THAT NOBODY USES ANYMORE (unless you happen to have an OG Minimoog).
