Unpopular Opinion: With the departure of Syd Barret, Pink Floyd went from one of the most creative bands in history to a fair to middling prog(ish) rock band.

I think this is one of my favourite pieces of music
Huh, I see it the other way. Post-Barrett there's a steady upward trajectory culminating in Dark Side of the Moon
From there, Wish You Were Here is disappointing, Animals is mostly terrible, and then with The Wall they're back to embarrassing
