Red70 is a nice synth that doesn't get talked about a lot. It's pretty basic but still nice I think.

And did you win ?
This synth didn't grab my attention when I trialed it...but I like how it sounds in your track. Nice analog-retro and acid character of sounds.

Thanks. If I remember correctly I came in 3rd place, so enough to get the Red70 synth and C1-L1 Vintage Compressor for free.dusan.cani wrote: ↑04 Dec 2019And did you win ?

I think the squelchy bass riff was beefed up with the help of the Saturation Knob from Softube. But the Red70 definitely has nice character of its own. And when adding FX to that it only gets even better.

And what did you use for drums ? Kong or Redrum ? The whole mix sounds good.

It was quite some time ago now so I'm going of vague memories here.dusan.cani wrote: ↑05 Dec 2019And what did you use for drums ? Kong or Redrum ? The whole mix sounds good.
There's individual drum kit samples like kick, hihats, snare/clap. Most likely from Kong. Kick sounds heavily compressed.
And I think I also used some rex loop for drums as well for extra percussive elements.
I wouldn't be surprised if parts of the drums have distortion on them.
