Hi all
Is anybody aware of a RE or VST which will produce random signal from a specified seed? I.e. you specify the random seed and for that seed it will produce the same pseudo-random values every time you play the track.
Thanks in advance
Random generator with customisable seed?
Maybe this:

Or maybe this works too:

Or this (but i heard it has some bugs, might be wrong):

If you are a hardcore CV dude, you can try this. I think it has some seed control somewhere:

Delta MIDI Computer can do this precisely, but specifically within the context of the various randomized MIDI processing it can do. Not sure what sort of seeded randomized things you need, but its a generative powerhouse if that's what you're looking for!

If your problem is random LFOs, than check out ZFO or Nostromo and the other Lectric Panda stuff, which can be synced to the track position.Bjørn Felle wrote: ↑01 Dec 2019Thank you guys, that's perfect I will check those out now. Hopefully this will mean goodbye to multiple rendering due to random LFOs
Also note, that some LFOs can be tricked, if you set them to Trigger mode, maybe just to resync them right before the real usage.
