Just tried it from the main shop drop down menu and it just returns a list of seemingly everything...

Yea, happens since years again and again. The last time it just could not find developers, because the search had a limit of 100 devs. Did not inspected it now, but sometimes i get useless results too.

Btw: i wish they would reorder the images of devices on mobile phones... They are below all other media and the main view of the image is on top of it. So senseless...

I went to search for a RE the other day and gave up - They are probably losing sales through this.

Yeah same here. I wanted to find an old RE but couldn't remember its name exactly. Anything I searched just gave the same list :?

It was a creative fx that added radio freq type noise and modulation etc, very old... still can't remember its name

It seems they do a full text search on the entire web pages of the products, with means, there are a ton of useless hits.

Thanks for trying but nah. I've got Phonetic though, I do like it, just haven't used it in ages.

The one I'm thinking of had a pretty bad brown gui with small rotaries at the bottom. I'll find it if i really want to.

Shame the search function is a dead duck though. They really are crap at some things.

and the 'search icon' actually disappears when you click on the shop page - It's like they don't want you to find the product.

I find that MOST search engines, are shit. That includes prime and youtube but YMMV.
